Hydrosols are aromatic waters, made when flowers, herbs, and/or other plant materials that are distilled to make essential oils. Hydrosols are gentler than essential oils and can be applied directly to your skin without the need to dilute them with a carrier oil. Safe for all ages and can be used on pets and added to their drinking water. Even yarrow can be used on dogs, which the plant itself toxic to dogs, but not the hydrosol.
